Alexis is a 2021 high school graduate from Monroe, Washington. She currently is a freshman at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she is on the women’s soccer and track teams while majoring in Kinesiology. Born with a condition called Pectus Excavatum, she underwent two major surgeries to prevent her sternum from compressing her heart and lungs. Alexis hopes to inspire youth as well as bring awareness to her condition.

Allyie Marie represents Maritime City best with her giving nature and welcoming personality. Her most valued possession is her morals and she strongly believes service comes before self. Allyie spends every spare minute giving back to Washington’s homeless population through charity drives and loves to spend time with her community. She uses her natural confidence to compete in local speech tournaments and she never declines a chance to advance her public speaking skills.

Sixteen-year-old Aneet is a first-generation Indian American, the daughter of a single mother nurse, and is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and English. A budding actress who also plays the Cello, Aneet is passionate about empowering other teens to take control of their mental health and wellness through the power of the performing arts with her personal platform called ACT – Advocating for funding, Connecting with teens, and helping them find their hidden Talents.

Angelique, an aspiring clinical biochemist, is a high school Junior simultaneously taking college courses to obtain her Associate of Biomedical Sciences by next year. At 13-years-old, she began attending basic medical trainings to someday assist in her family’s residential care facility. Angelique is an accomplished singer, featured as opening act for concerts with over 1,000 attendees. She also passionately leads the Lakes High School dance team, and works with Kiwanis, a volunteer-based global non-profit organization.

Aubrey is currently a sophomore at Foster Highschool. After graduating she plans to enroll into the military. Aubrey is using her knowledge and struggles with mental illnesses to help younger generations. She is dedicated to having open conversations about the struggles and challenges of living with a mental illness. Aubrey always craves new opportunities. Her hobbies include writing, fashion, basketball, track, music, and traveling. She thrives under pressure with a smile on her face.

Being the daughter of an immigrant, Destiny is a proud second generation Arab-American. In high school, she was a nationally recognized competitive speech and debater. This led Destiny to receive a scholarship to Penn State University where she’s pursuing her degree in political science. She puts her talents to use, as an advocate for international gender equality partnering with the organization “Equality Now.” For fun, Destiny loves hiking, especially with her dogs mac and cheese.

Ella is a senior at White River High School, Buckley, WA. In her free time, she is involved in cheerleading, leadership, dance, singing, and national honors society.   Ella was born with MALS (Median arcuate ligament syndrome) which is a disease where her celiac artery is being compressed causing pain and issues with her lower organs. Instead of allowing this to hamper her life, Ella chooses to share her condition to help others.

Fatima is a Junior at Chief Sealth International High School, earning the seal of biliteracy, through the dual language program. Born and raised in Seattle, she is a proud Latina and first-generation US citizen. Because of her community advocacy, she was profiled during Seattle Public School’s (SPS) Latinx Heritage Month. She volunteers with the Washington State Alianza Advocacy Leadership group and works for SPS as a Latina student leader, where she helps Spanish-speaking families.

Earning her AA at 17, Hannah flourishes as an assistant for the Brent Lab at Fred Hutchinson’s Cancer Research Center. Being Seattle’s first student and scholarship recipient honored by NASA’s Chief John Hines for her contributions; Hannah advocates and inspires confidence in young children and minorities. Also a member of UW’s Cheer team, Hannah is an experienced leader on campus. As Miss Washington Teen USA, Hannah strives to create a scholarship for minority STEM students.

Isha Sudhir, 14, is the Public Relations Officer for her school’s ASB, a three-year honor society member, and a recipient of the Presidential Award of Academic Excellence. Isha enjoys playing lacrosse for a competitive travel team and is passionate about utilizing her background in STEM and Humanities to solve real-world problems. She uses her experience in chess to teach children about the power of chess while raising funds for the Seattle Humane Society.

Kailia loves to entertain, from performing contortion with Cirque du Soleil, to playing Agnes in the Netflix movie “Eli” in 2018.A 15-year-old freshman at Lynden High School, Kailia plans to study aviation in college and become a commercial pilot. She was named to the Dean’s List for the 2020/2021 school year. Kailia hopes to show members of her generation that they can positively impact the world if they are patient and work hard.

Kareena is a full-time running start student at Bellevue College. She is also an Assistant Director of Taal International Corporation, in which was the Organizing Assistant of Indian Celebrity Pankaj Udhas show in March of 2020. Kareena has performed 200 hours of community service acts which includes tutoring children after school, donating toys to foster care facilities, volunteering at nursing homes, and has helped her community by starting a recycling program with her friends.

Kate is a Senior at Bellarmine Preparatory School where she is a member of the National Honor Society, Varsity Cheer Team, Tennis Team, Mandarin Club, and the Beach Cleanup Crew.  Kate has grown as a person through community service work at the Lutheran World Relief Services, Friends of Youth, and Camp to Belong. Kate has received numerous academic scholarships and will be attending college in the fall of 2022 to study marketing and communications.

She is an active Cheerleader, currently enrolled in Running Start at South Seattle College, Dream starter at UW for early PreMed training, and an Internship at United Nations Education Alliance to Advocate for Racial Equity, Women’s rights, Indigenous rights. She enjoys doing public speaking and spreading her Activism through Public Testimonies, News casts, Podcasts, and speaking at City Events.

Mackenzie Arden, 18, is a senior at Wilbur Creston High School. She is a varsity athlete in volleyball, cheer, basketball, and track. She’s also class president, ASB vice president, and is the school’s National Honor Society chapter president. Along with her athletics and leadership positions, Mackenzie strives for academics with a GPA of 3.9 while taking honors and college classes. Her lifelong dream is to become a fetal surgeon or OB/GYN.

Mackenzie is a Sophomore at South Bend High School where she is the Sophomore Class President and President of Key Club, a community service club. As a part of her platform, “Girls With Game”, Mackenzie works with and encourages girls about the importance of physical and mental health. Mackenzie participates in cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, and softball. She enjoys kayaking, camping, and snowmobiling with friends and family. Her career aspirations include becoming a sports physical therapist.

Poorva Mishra is a 14-year-old born in Washington state. She is currently a high school student who has attended courses at New York Film Academy, acted in multiple theater productions, and modeled for Macy’s at North American Fashion Week. Having struggled with mental health issues, she hopes to use her platform as a future actress and philanthropist to spread awareness about issues facing her generation and serve her community in any way possible.

Summer, 17 is a senior at Mount Si High school graduating in 2022. She has plans on starting her own Adoption Agency to help solve and redefine the foster care system and the system as a whole. Diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia she has a passion for helping kids in her situation using mindfulness. She is doing so as a part-time volunteer mindfulness teacher at All-Star Academy in her home town Snoqualmie Washington.

Tara, a senior at Nathan Hale High School, takes pride in her Asian heritage. Tara created her platform, “Inclusion is the Solution” to bring awareness to racism against Asians, and has spoken to a national audience. A member of her school’s mock trial team, she aspires to study law and bring justice to the world through legal advocacy. Tara enjoys volunteering for her community, playing tennis, and skiing.
