"Wow, this past year’s pageant rocked! I really enjoyed the opening number and I met the sweetest people in the world. Even though I didn’t win, I was honored with the title of Miss Spirit. I wish the best for the winner and hope to do the pageant again soon. Thanks for a memorable experience!"
Elisabeth Jackson – Miss Thurston County Teen USA 2008 (contestant)
"Thank you for all your work behind the scenes for a spectacular weekend. We really appreciate your work in making this a great experience for Maddy and all the contestants. It was an entertaining and fun weekend for all of us… I can’t vouch for other contestant parents/family, but I will say for us that it’s a weekend that will be talked about in our family for many years, if not generations, and I wanted to say thank you for your hard work and role in making that happen."
Ross Smith (parent of contestant)
"I am so glad that I participated in this year’s pageant, with no regrets. Even though I didn’t make the top 10 this year or last year, I feel more comfortable with my self and I feel more beautiful within my own skin. Thank you to all the staff and Donna for all the hard work in helping us do our best. Even though only one girl walks away with the title, you truly root on each girl as if everyone will win. Thank you!"
Sara Batt – Miss Sammamish Teen USA 2006 (repeat contestant)
"By far, the most outstanding pageant I have ever participated in! I met a lot of awesome girls and cannot wait to see you again next year!"
Shawna Clark - Miss Yakima Valley Teen USA (2005-2006 repeat contestant)
"The Miss Washington USA organization has grown so much over the years! It’s always an honor to participate alongside such a phenomenal group of diverse women. I had such a blast LAST YEAR AND I CONNOT WAIT FOR 2009’s competition. See you next year!!"
Blythe Howard – Miss Queen Anne USA 2008 (multiple repeat contestant)
"I just wanted to thank you guys for such a wonderful weekend. You guys put a lot of effort into it and it showed. I felt that it was a top of the line production. Thanks again for being so helpful and kind throughout preparations and the actual weekend! I’m already looking forward to next year!"
Meghan Jerome – Miss Clark County USA 2007 (contestant)
"Obviously, with Lauren finishing as 3rd runner up in the TEEN competition, we were quite delighted. It was such a surprise! The whole experience was a good one for Lauren. She felt a sense of peace working with you because she knows your hearts are in the right place. Thank you all so much...your energy, joy and positive attitude is contagious."
Terri (parent of contestant)
"My daughter has been untrusting of other girls since she's been poorly treated and hurt by them. I was concerned that this pageant would be the same. On the way home from the pageant, she began to cry and I asked her why and to my surprise, she said that she didn't want the weekend to end. She'd had a lot of fun and met some terrific girls. It was so great for her to meet such wonderful, caring girls and although they were in a competitive situation, they still managed to be kind and friendly. Thank you for the opportunity to learn this most important lesson. You all did a fantastic job over the weekend. You were well organized, kind, informative and managed to smile on very little sleep! Thank you."
Rebecca (parent of contestant)
"I'm so impressed with what you and your team stand for and instill in the Miss WA USA program and am grateful that I got to take part. I wish this wasn't my last year! I would have for sure participated again if that wasn't the case."
Susan Gulyas - Miss Mill Creek USA (2005-2006 contestant)
"I am totally interested in competing again next year! The judges did a wonderful job picking out the winners... I had so much fun, despite the limited sleep time and such, but it was such a reflective experience for me, it was worth it. This was my first pageant ever, and I am glad I competed!"
Jennifer Newport – Miss Yakima Valley USA (2006-2007 contestant)
"It was such an amazing - and fun - opportunity and something I will never forget. I've been telling everyone how impressed I was by the contestants. I only wish I could have talked to more of them when it was over...I can't wait to watch the MISS USA and MISS TEEN USA pageants next year!"
